HTC TyTN - A Storm in a Tea Cup

Another new addition by HTC in its range of Windows Mobile Pocket PCs and Smartphones is the HTC TyTN. Along with a new Windows Mobile Smartphone – the MTeoR, with the new TyTN the pocket PC, HTC has started making products and promoting them under its own name. Therefore the TyTN is a landmark device for HTC.

The HTC TyTN is all about decreasing the entire size of the hardware. Despite that it still comes with a sleek and impressive keyboard which slides out from the left edge of the device. When the keyboard is slided out, the orientation of the screen changes automatically from the portrait mode (tall) to landscape mode (wide), so that you are ready to type and see the screen simultaneously and conveniently.

There are different ways of navigation available with the HTC TyTN. Other than using the keyboard, you may choose to use the on-screen tap-able keyboard as the device has a touch sensitive screen. This device also has a handwriting recognition facility where it can recognize two types of handwriting. You can use this facility either by writing into a recognizer window or the other way, which is by writing direct to anywhere on the screen. You can also choose to use the stylus which is kept in a slot on the bottom back right edge of the pocket PC. The stylus helps in writing direct on the screen and for other screen prodding functions.

The HTC TyTN is an award winning device which is not available directly from any operators as of now. However this may come along with some operator deals by the third parties at present. Or you can also choose to click on HTC TyTN and get this amazing and attractive little Pocket PC. The HTC TyTN is truly complete office solution in a compact size and ideal for those who are always on the go.
